Meet Robert “Bob” Donovan — the local artisan behind our vintage-inspired drying racks.

In our family, he’s lovingly known as “Grampy,” and woodworking has always been one of his greatest joys. After years of running his own home repair business, he still spends his free time in the workshop creating thoughtful, handcrafted pieces for his home, and for the people he loves.

Several years ago, Grampy built the original drying rack that hung in our home for years. When we opened our booth, we displayed it overhead to showcase our linens — clearly marked not for sale because it was simply too sentimental to part with. To our surprise, it quickly became one of the most requested pieces in the booth. So many of you asked about it, and so many were disappointed to hear it wasn’t available.

When we shared that with Grampy, his response was simple: he’d happily build another.

We are so excited to share a handmade, vintage-inspired replica of the original drying rack that meant so much to our family. Crafted with the same care, intention, and old-fashioned workmanship, it carries both function and story — something we value deeply. From our family to yours, we hope you love it just as much as we do.
